Besides being the election verdict day in India, May 23, 2019, also marks five years of Tiger Shroff in Bollywood. Yes, this was the day, the ‘Student Of The Year 2’ actor’s first film – ‘Heropanti’ released.
Tiger’s Heropanti co-star Kriti Sanon took to Twitter to share some fond memories from the sets of the film. ‘I saw his hard work, his discipline & passion and I knew he’s gonna blow people’s minds away! You’ll always have this super soft corner in my heart Tigy’, wrote Kriti.

What caught our attention, however, was how different the Baaghi actor looked only five years ago. So we decided to do a five-year comparison of some of his contemporaries – and Tiger won, hands down. See for yourself.
Kriti, who also began her Bollywood career exactly five years ago, with Heropanti, told a leading daily that she feels ‘a lot more comfortable now’. And if you ignore the difference in quality of the two images, you would say, not much has changed.
Then we thought of Tiger’s contemporary, Varun. Well sort of contemporary, since he came into the industry only two years before Tiger. And ya, not much has changed for him either, in terms of looks. Not even his choice in clothing.
Speaking of Varun Dhawan, how could we not include Alia on the list? The actress also started off her Bollywood career with Student Of The Year – the sequel to which Tiger was last seen in. And minus a couple of pounds here and there, Alia also seemed to be maintaining her look, consistently.
So what exactly happened here? How did Tiger manage to transform so much? Like everyone knew he was athletic, since the time he first appeared on screen, but when did he turn into a new person? From Heropanti To Student Of The Year 2, Tiger shroff has definitely come a long way. Don’t you think so?
