Reports suggest, Anand Kumar is going to be taking up the direction. The filmmakers are keen on having Tiger Shroff on board, considering his history of having a background in stunts and being a fantastic footballer himself. A source revealed –
If he wasn’t an actor, he would have taken to a career in the sport. So when Anand was looking at a popular face for the biopic, Tiger was his first and only choice. Tiger has liked the script but now, it’s up to the dates and the schedules. The modalities need to be discussed before proceeding further.

The story of the Indian football captain, Baichung Bhutia, is less-known and will be brought to the silver screen with this biopic. Tiger Shroff has also taken a keen interest in football, which will make him ideal for the role.
Tiger Shroff was last seen in Student Of The Year 2. The actor is, meanwhile, also finishing shooting for his YRF film alongside Hrithik Roshan. He will also be working in Baaghi 3.
