‘Uri’ Crosses 200-Crore Mark, Set To Break Records Held By ‘Baahubali 2’

Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Uri’ has joined the bandwagon of superhit films, setting a new world record for box office collections. The gross collections of the film have crosses well beyond the 200-crore tag, as revealed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh or Twitter. The film has done brisk business at the box office, beating records of  Baahubali 2’s weekend 5 collections, in a single sweep! 

Based on the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian army in 2016 – the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and first-time Bollywood actor Mohit Raina in vital roles. Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film has been praised by celebrities and politicians, alike. The viral dialogue how’s the josh was also mentioned by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in their speeches – a big honour for any film!
