Varun Dhawan’s has just shared his look from his upcoming film ‘Kalank’. His character, ‘Zafar’ is one of the first among a series of characters which are going to be revealed, eventually. Director Karan Johar had shared the first look of the film on his Instagram profile on Wednesday, March 6. The picture shows a man and a woman in a boat, surrounded by flowers. Karan Johar shared how the film was very close to his heart, having conceived the idea of the project nearly fifteen years ago. He also got a little emotional, asking the viewers to join him on this ‘path to undying love’.
The multi-starrer Kalank stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. The ensemble star cast also has the likes of actors such as Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Sonakshi Sinha. The film is a period-drama set in the 1940’s, and is set to hit the theatres on April 19, 2019.
