Varun Dhawan recently wrapped shooting for his forthcoming release Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Street Dancer’ and has now begun shooting with his co-star Sara Ali Khan for ‘Coolie No. 1’.
It was last night that the actor took off to Bangkok, where the film is set to go on floors. Directed by father David Dhawan, the actor is reuniting with the filmmaker after Judwaa 2. Coolie No. 1 writer Farhad Samji took to his Instagram handle to announce that the film’s shooting has begun.

On the other hand, Varun Dhawan shared a video on his Instagram handle as he was leaving for the film’s shoot schedule, where he says, “I am getting ready for Coolie No 1 and removing my beard so that I become Raju, coolie.”
Besides Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever. Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will be seen recreating Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s iconic song, Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha. Coolie No. 1 is slated to release on May 1, next year.
