The total collections of War are Rs 301.75 crores, making it the third Yash Raj Film to cross the magical box office number after Sultan in 2016 and Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. Siddharth Anand, who has directed the film, says the kind of response that the film has got has them all shocked.
It has been simply phenomenal to receive this kind of love and adulation from audiences. War was made with the hope to give India its biggest original action spectacle and the entire team is ecstatic to get the desired result at the box office. War has also crossed the lifetime business of previous box-office bigwigs such as Sultan and Padmaavat. It is officially 2019’s highest grossing Hindi film. War had earlier made history as it had the biggest opening numbers for any Hindi film, at Rs. 53.35 crores.
