Success doesn’t come easy, and doesn’t come soon – but when it does, it sure is sweet! Hrithik has seen a few box office debacles. Of late, however, that has changed, as he saw two back-to-back successes in the Anand Kumar biopic ‘Super 30’; and his recently released film ‘War’ alongside Tiger Shroff, which did stupendously well at the box office. The actor opened up at the success bash of the film, saying that he was empowered by working in films like these.
Hrithik Roshan said at the War success bash-
I was fortunate that I had films I was empowered by. I felt so much love and passion for these two films. From now on, I am going to set my benchmark higher. I felt more encouraged after the success. It is an important success for me.
The actor credited his personal instincts for bringing him forward to go with his film choices. He said-
My instincts were very strong and if it would have failed, then I would have been affected. The most important thing for us in creative life is to be able to trust our instincts and if your instincts gets reaffirmed and gets strengthened, it empowers you a lot.
Hrithik Roshan is in no mood to give up any time soon or sit back and relax, as he said, the “best is yet to come.” Talking about his collaboration with Tiger Shroff, the actor said, “I was learning. I was constantly watching his honesty, integrity, the process that he applies. To pull off a two-hero film, you need two people, who are honest and have love and admiration for each other. With Tiger, I feel so much love and admiration for the person he is and the actor that he is.”
War released on October 2 and is inching closer to the Rs. 100 crore mark within days of its release. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also has Vaani Kapoor.
