Chiranjeevi Reveals Why Salman Khan Was Chosen For God Father Instead Of Pawan Kalyan

Superstar Chiranjeevi’s latest film ‘God Father’ has proven to be a box office success and has gained a lot of love from the audience. The film helmed by director Mohan Raja that stars Nayanthara also featuring Salman Khan in a small yet significant role has impressed the audience.

During a conversation with Puri Jagannath, superstar Chiranjeevi revealed that Pawan Kalyan too would have done justice to Salman Khan’s role in the film. After making this statement the actor went ahead and explained the reason behind casting Salman Khan instead of Pawan Kalyan. He said that the makers wanted someone who is popular amongst the audience of south and north both. 

The actor said that – “Pawan Kalyan would be a right choice and he would have done it If asked. Kalyan doing it would have brought equal craze to that character. But we wanted an actor who has a good craze in the south and north. Even Kalyan would have said that Salman Khan doing the role is apt.” 

Although the political thriller film that released on October 5 received a good box office response, do you think that it would have done better if Pawan Kalyan was casted in the film instead of Salman Khan?
