Here’s How Netizens Reacted To The Teaser Of ‘Adipurush’ 

The teaser of Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas starrer film ‘Adipurush’ received a grand launch on the banks of Sarayu river in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya on Sunday, 3rd October . The magnum opus film also starring Kriti Sanon is helmed by National Award winning director Om Raut. The film that promises to be a visual spectacle is an adaptation of Indian mythological epic, Ramayana. 

The teaser of the film starts with the shot of Prabhas meditating underwater which then transits to a scene where the actor can be seen saying “destroy injustice”. After this the first glimpse of Saif Ali Khan’s character is shown with 10 heads which is the representation of evil and the dark forces. In the film, Prabhas can be seen playing the role of Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and Sunny Singh in the character of Laxman. 

Soon after the teaser of the film was launched, netizens started reacting to it and shared their opinion on the same. While the teaser launch was a mega event, the teaser of the film has left the audience disappointed, and is now getting trolled for its “poor VFX”.

Reacting to the same a Twitter user wrote- “I mean seriously!!! Are they going to change the name of ravan to rizwan ?? Who is styling his beard?? Javid Habib??” Netizens also questioned the portrayal of Ravana’s Pushpak Viman in the teaser.

Another user took to his social media handle and wrote- “This is highly highly highly disappointing. A 500 crore cartoon movie. And that disgusting Ravana look! #Prabhas could have carried that #Bahubali look rather than this animated joke!”

Adipurush is considered to be the biggest film in Prabhas’ career with a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. The film is all set to hit the theaters  on January 12, 2023.
