Here’s When Aditya Roy Kapur And Sara Ali Khan Starrer ‘Metro In Dino’ Will Release

Seems like we will get to see Aditya Roy Kapur back on the big screen pretty soon. Mark your calendars as the release date of Anurag Basu’s Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan starrer film ‘Metro In Dino’ has been announced. 

The makers of the film announced on Monday morning ( that the film will release in theaters on December 8, 2023.

‘Metro in Dino’ will showcase some “heartwarming stories of contemporary couples.” The film, backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-series, stars an ensemble cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh.

While talking about his upcoming project, director Anurag Basu said,  “Metro…In Dino’ is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me. The storyline is very fresh and relevant as I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary aura with them.”

He further added, “As music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn’t be more happy to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work.”

The film also marks the first on screen collaboration between Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur. 

Aditya Roy Kapur who was last seen in the 2022 film ‘Raksha Kavach Om’ is gearing up for the release of his upcoming web series ‘The Night Manager’; where he will be seen starring alongside Anil Kapoor.

On the other hand Sara Ali Khan has recently wrapped up the shoot of Laxman Utekar’s yet to be titled film in which she will be starring opposite Vicky Kaushal.
