Sixteen years later, bad boys Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back for one last ride. They have finally copped another case as the duo is back in the first trailer for ‘Bad Boys for Life’, the much anticipated third installment of their action-packed buddy franchise.
The trailer shows the years haven’t changed the banter and relationship between playboy Mike Lowrey played by Will Smith and family man Marcus Burnett played by Lawrence. The Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah directorial leans into the humor-amid-violence combo the Miami cops are known for as the duo works together “one last time” after a revenge-seeking bad guy comes looking for them. While it’s not totally clear what the duo will be up against in this movie, we are assured that there will be a whole lot of shooting, car chases, and explosions.
The first Bad Boys movie came out in 1995, followed by the second in 2003. ‘Bad Boys for Life’ is set to release on January 17, 2020.
