Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are back with their social media tactics.
Blake Lively had earlier wiped everything off her Instagram account to promote her upcoming film The Rhythm Section. But then she de-archived a few iconic gems, including a recent birthday post to Reynolds. But what pulled all the attention is Lively’s latest Instagram classic- a hysterical video that Reynolds recorded when Lively was in the hospital, recovering from a hand injury she got on the set of The Rhythm Section.
The video that Blake Lively uploaded to her Instagram story features her lying in a hospital bed as the song Wild Thing plays. The actress joked over the video as she wrote, “Literally 4 weeks after I said, ‘I’d give my right hand to be in this movie!’ (Good thing no one told me to ‘break a leg’)”. Lively further wrote, “My husband somehow knew ‘Wild Thing’ would be my version of smelling salts. I’ve never felt so seen. 😍 Or high. Also….I have zero recollection of this”.
The trailer for The Rhythm Section dropped in September 2019, and it seems to be a thriller with a ton of wig changes. It’s based on a novel by Mark Burnell and sees Blake Lively going into full revenge fantasy, chasing down killers who murdered her character’s family. It scheduled to release on January 31, 2020.
