And it actually stands true as the first teaser of ‘Bombshell’ turns up the heat of what can be the most tense, dramatic elevator ride of your entire life.
Lionsgate dropped the first look of their upcoming film ‘Bombshell’, the story of three women who came forward to take down former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes after he was accused of sexual harassment. The film stars a powerhouse cast including Nicole Kidman as journalist Gretchen Carlson, Margot Robbie as fictional news producer Kayla Pospisil and Charlize Theron as controversial news personality Megyn Kelly. The teaser also gives us a glimpse of one of our favourite queer actresses and comedians Kate McKinnon.
While not much dialogue is exchanged in the teaser, the intensity and anxiousness that can be seen on the faces of the three legendary actresses is already enough to get us all hooked on the sheer drama that is sure to unfold. ‘Bombshell’ is set to hit the screens on December 20 this year.
