Confirmed! ‘P.S. I Love You’ To Get A Sequel, Hilary Swank Back As Holly

P.S. I Love You would be underestimated when called a chick flick or romantic drama, because the movie more than just a tear-jerker. Holly Kennedy who moved us as she moved on, is all set to reprise on-screen.

Yes, the 2007 release is on to get its sequel. Cecelia Ahern’s second novel Postscript is going to be turned into a film. The Irish Author revealed the news, admitting she was “delighted” that Oscar-winning actress, Hilary Swank, would be reprising her role as Holly Kennedy.

The P.S. I Love You sequel will narrate the story of Holly’s life 7 years after her husband Garry’s death.

“One of the first people to email me when she heard the news was Hilary Swank.

“She was so excited, she wanted to read the book and she said ‘I would love to support you in any way, shape or form’. Then she read the book and she said ‘I want to make this movie’.

“It felt like a lovely reunion everyone back together again, now we don’t have a director or a screenwriter or any of that, nothing’s been announced yet, but the movie’s happening! I’m delighted.”
