Oscar Winning Actress Emma Stone Gets Engaged To SNL Writer Dave McCary

Emma Stone is ending the year on a perfect note as she is engaged to Dave McCary, and we must say, her ring is quite shiny, just like her Oscar statuette. The 31-year-old actress’ longtime boyfriend Dave McCary revealed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a photo of the couple smiling excitedly as Stone showed off her new ring.

The low-key couple started dating in October 2017, and has made sporadic public appearances since then, including the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards, an NBA game and the Met Gala “Boom Boom Afterparty”. Stone and McCary, a segment director and writer for Saturday Night Live met when the Oscar-winning actress hosted SNL at the end of 2016 and starred in the sketch Wells for Boys, which McCary directed.

Before dating Dave McCary, Stone was in a relationship with Andrew Garfield, whom she split from in 2015 after almost four years of dating.
