Emmy 2019 Nominations: A Few Glaring Snubs, But Still Great Representation For Female Artists

If you are a member of a binge-watching chat room you will remember Fleabag dominating conversations while even being summoned as the greatest show of the century. Okay, perhaps that was one chat room and one conversation, but Phoebe Waller Bridge with Killing Eve and Fleabag has redefined women in the industry. Women in the arts have found representation in a way never before. Even if there are a few defeating snubs (there’s no women of colour), and we hope with earnest that they are rectified – that women are not just sticking to their gender-based nominations has us very elated. From the fast-talking feminine wit of Mrs. Maisel, to the grit of Killing Eve, to the tenacity of Veep, to the absolutely ravaging humour of Fleabag – women are everywhere. Alone, and in pairs (we mean come on, have you checked out Game Of Thrones’ nominations?!)

Here are some of the nominees for the Emmy Awards 2019, that has a whopping number of women in them!
