Priyanka Chopra On “Tumultuous Relationship” With Bollywood

“I cannot really work with people I don’t like any more and that’s really non negotiable”, retorted Priyanka Chopra Jonas at the press conference of her much-awaited series Citadel in Mumbai. She further added, “I have to admire and look up to people I work with, I want to be excited and inspired when I go into work. This is something as I have evolved become important to me”.

Her recent podcast with Dax Shepard where she revealed that she decided to move to the US because Bollywood had pushed her into a cornet and there were people who were playing games with her. When asked why did she choose to speak about it now, “The show was about my journey through the years, and I think am confident now to talk about that phase of my life. I think now where I am, am okay enough articulate what I felt then, It was a tumultuous relationship with what occurred , but I forgave and moved on a long time ago and made my peace with it”.
