Jennifer Aniston Is Winning Instagram As She Breaks The Record Of This Royal Couple

11 million followers, 12 million likes, broke Instagram for four hours- all in one day on Instagram. Ladies and gentleman, Jennifer Aniston!

That’s not all from the actress. On first day in the social media platform, Jennifer Aniston collected one million followers in just just five hours and 16 minutes, thus making a Guinness World Record with her epic Instagram debut, nabbing the title for fastest time to do so. With this, she broke the record held by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who garnered the same following in five hours and 45 minutes.

50-year-old Aniston surprised her fans and famous friends alike when she joined Instagram on October 15. In her debut, the actress shared the perfect first post- a selfie of her and her Friends alums- Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry. Her post not only broke records but also broke the app itself as the picture of the ‘friends’ crashed Instagram under the onslaught of users clamouring for a look.

The actress won hearts and likes once again as she apologized for crashing the popular app in a post that included a clip from her upcoming Apple TV+ series, The Morning Show. “I swear I didn’t mean to break it… Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome ❤️”, she wrote, along with a clip of her show’s character, Alex Levy, getting frustrated and throwing her cellphone.

Many stars and friends of Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram to welcome the actress, including her “The Morning Show” co-star Reese Witherspoon, ex-husband Justin Theroux and F.R.I.E.N.D.S co-star Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow amongst many others. While Witherspoon wrote in her post, “YASSSS!!! Welcome to Insta Jen!!”,  Theroux posted, “Woot-Woot,” using the hashtag #first. Cox shared a throwback photo of hers with Aniston on her Instagram page as she captioned the photo,”Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world…it sucks. You’re gonna love it!”
