Jurassic World 3 Confirms The Return Of Original Cast

Jurassic Park fans are treated to back-to-back surprises! After stunning the world with an all new Jurassic World short film on September 16, Colin Trevorrow has amazed the world once again as he found a way to bring back the original cast of Jurassic Park. The director announced that Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are set to reprise their iconic roles in Jurassic World 3.

Colin Trevorrow revealed the exciting news at a screening of Jurassic World alongside confirming that Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will have sizeable roles in the sequel. This will mark the first time the three actors have been in a film in the franchise together since 1993, though all three have made appearances in sequels.

In the ending of last year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, a dinosaur auction had gone horribly wrong and the dinosaurs kept in the mansion had been unleashed upon the world by a little clone girl who felt a kinship with the animals. The director recently released Battle at Big Rock, a short movie which picks up one year after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and shows the dinosaurs living in our world and creating a fight for survival. Jurassic World 3 is scheduled to release on June 11, 2021, and like Battle at Big Rock, will explore just what a life alongside the formerly extinct means for humans. Trevorrow returns to direct the film, after producing Fallen Kingdom, while Emily Carmichael will co-write the script.
