Kerry Washington Joins Netflix’s ‘The Prom’ Alongside Meryl Streep & Nicole Kidman

Kerry Washington is on-board with the all-star cast of Netflix’s musical ‘The Prom’, an adaptation of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical.

The very spectacular ensemble cast includes Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Awkwafina, James Corden, Ariana Grande, Keegan-Michael Key and Andrew Rannells.

The Prom is based on a story by Jack Viertel and a book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin. It narrates the experiences of an Indiana lesbian teenager who wants to bring her girlfriend to her school’s big dance, but can’t. And so, a group of Broadway actors head to the town to help the young women fight for their rights.
