Marvel To Get LGBTQ Superhero In Next Film

Joe Russo, the co-director of Marvel, was recently in India touring for his upcoming film Avengers: Endgame. He held a press conference with fans, at which musical maestro AR Rahman was also present. At the press conference, he declared how much the Indian audiences mean to the Marvel studios. Among other important announcements, one was the most noteworthy! Marvel is all set to add another superhero to the Marvel universe, and he/she will reportedly be from the LGBTQ community. 

“One hundred per cent and you will see one very soon,” was Joe Russo’s exact statement to IANS. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also spoke about the possibility of an LGBTQ hero entering the Marvel franchise, saying that the idea is ‘percolating’.
