We all saw Tony Stark broken at the end of Infinity War. Thanos had finally succeeded in wiping out half the universe and the entirety of the Marvel universe was left to contemplate that fact. We saw the disappearance of Bucky, War Machine, Spider Man and a whole host of other heroes. It was a sad and depressing end to the film. The Russo brothers have crafted the ultimate superhero epic in Avengers: Infinity War and are now getting set to kick the doors in with the next installment of the MCU’s takeover of Hollywood.
From The Winter Soldier to Civil War to now Infinity War, the Russo’s have coalesced all of Marvel’s insane and zany characters into a series of solid, bankable films. Superheroes are here to stay and that is just the way it is.
With the release of the trailer of Captain Marvel, which failed to really capture the attention of superhero fans, people are even more excited for the latest Avengers film. The only downside to all of this is that Marvel looks like they’re running out of steam with Captain Marvel. It just looks dull, lifeless and boring. But judging by the latest Avengers trailer, we can safely say that Marvel have gotten the mojo that they lost with Captain Marvel back.
