“King. Legend. Friend…” Paulo Coelho Showers Praises Over Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan has been gathering praises ever since his comeback film ‘Pathaan’ has been released. The film that has broken all the box office records has brought the 90’s madness back as people can be seen whistling, hooting and singing in the theaters as they enjoy King Khan’s performance. While SRK fans are going gaga over his dialogue delivery, action sequences, oh-so hot body and stellar performance, there is another addition to Shah Rukh Khan’s fan club. ‘The Alchemist’ author Paulo Coelho took to his Twitter handle to give a loud shoutout to the ‘Badshaah of Bollywood’ -*while calling the actor’s 2010 film ‘My Name Is Khan’ his best performance.
The author shared a video of fans gathering outside SRK’s residence, ‘Mannat’ and wrote, “King. Legend. Friend. But above all great actor. (for those who don’t know him in the West, I strongly suggest “My name is Khan – and I am not a terrorist”).”
This morning, Shah Rukh Khan replied to the author’s tweet and wrote: “You are always too kind my friend. Let us meet up sooner than soon! Bless you.”

This wasn’t the first time that the ‘Brida’ author praised Khan. Before this, in the year 2017 Coelho congratulated SRK on the seventh anniversary of ‘My Name Is Khan’ and wrote, “His first (and only) movie that I watched (this year, even if it was released in 2008) was My Name is Khan. And not only was the movie excellent, but SRK deserved an Oscar if Hollywood was not manipulated. He kindly offered to send the other titles – as you probably guess, it is not easy to find them in Switzerland.”
To this Khan replied, “Thank u so much. My next journey is to try and meet u in person. Love and health to u.”
Well, just like the most of us, even Paulo Coelho couldn’t help but shower love SRK for his magnificent performance and enchanting aura.
The actor whose latest film has become the only Hindi film to cross the ₹300-crore mark globally will soon be seen starring in director Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ opposite Nayanthara and in Rajkummar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’.
