Makers Of Prabhas’ Adipurush To Delay The Release After Backlash On VFX? Here’s What We Know
After getting backlash on the teaser of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer film ‘Adipurush’ due to its ‘poor’ VFX, reports suggest that the makers of the film are planning to delay the film’s release. The trailer of the film based upon the epic of Ramayana that also stars Kriti Sanon in the titular role was also accused of misrepresentation.
According to media reports, the release of the film might be delayed due to the massive clash with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veeraya, NBK’s Veera Simha Reddy, Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu and Viijay’s Varisu.
While there is no official confirmation about the same, trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted while hinting the same and wrote- “The biggie is postponed??? Awaiting a clarification/confirmation from the makers.”
Adipurush is a magnum opus film based upon the helmed by director Om Raut where Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the role of Lankesh, Prabhas as Rama and Kriti Sanon as Sita. While the film made with the budget of 300 crores was said to release in 2D and 3D on 12th of January 2023 in several languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, fans are eagerly waiting for an official confirmation from the makers upon the change in date of the film.
