“Reel Life” Bollywood Besties That We’d Love To Have In Real Life!

Besides the dance moves and senti dialogues, Bollywood has time and again taught us one life lesson through the movies: friendship. And so, today being International Friendship Day, lets look at films which made our hearts swell with joy- with their wholehearted friendships!

Can a guru and chela be good friends? Sanjay Dutt as Munna and Circuit (Arshad Warsi) proved that “bhai ne bola karne ka matlab karne ka” is the ultimate bestfriend rule! (be it even beating people up for your bestie)

Raanjhanaa

Having spent time before the shoots, Zeeshan Ayyub (Murari) and Dhanush(Kundan) bring out real- like friendship on-screen, giving us glimpses of brotherhood that lasts through girl problems, class difference and religious diversities.

Sholay

Jai and Veeru’s iconic duo teaches us that even though blood may be thicker than water; but yaar toh yaar hota hai! ‘Ye dosti hum nahi todenge’ song remains the epitome of ‘friendship goals’, echoing since 1975…

Queen

Vikas Bahl’s ‘Queen’ shows that companionship can be found in every nook and corner of the world! Rani (Kangana Ranaut) finds herself friends for a lifetime on her trip to Europe; which is better than any Honeymoon any day! Right?

Dor

16 years later, we still go back to Meera and Zeenat’s pure and simple friendship, despite the hardships. No drama, no glamour, just a film with two women standing up for each other; giving us a life lesson on womanhood and unconditional fellowship.
