Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s First Look From Indian Instalment Of Russo Brother’s Citadel Is Out!

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back in action after giving a power packed performance in her film ‘Yashodha’. The ‘Family Man’ actor has been confirmed as the co-lead alongside Varun Dhawan in the Indian instalment of Russo Brother’s hit series ‘Citadel’.

After months of speculations, the makers of the series confirmed Samantha as the leading lady of the series by dropping the actor’s first look poster. Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram account to unveil her first look poster from the film helmed by directors Raj & DK.

In the first look poster, she can be seen in a fierce look wearing a brown leather jacket and yellow aviators.

While sharing the first look poster on her social media handles that actor wrote, “the mission is on. We have started rolling for the Indian instalment of Citadel”.

The upcoming espionage spy thriller series marks the first on screen collaboration between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan.

Last year the actor opened up about being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, myositis and shared a picture of herself sitting on a couch with an IV drip connected to her wrist.

In other news, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s highly anticipated film ‘Shakuntalam’ that was earlier slated to release on February 17 has been postponed. If reports are to be believed, the reason behind this delay in the film’s release is the massive success of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ in north belt due to which ‘Shakuntalm’ didn’t get the desired screen count.
