Single Or Dating? Kartik Aaryan On His Relationship Status

Kartik Aaryan is making headlines with his spectacular performance in his latest film ‘Freddy’ that also stars Alaya F in the lead role. 

In an interview with GOODTiMES’ Puja Talwar, Kartik Aaryan talks about having a blockbuster year, his relationship status, struggles, making big in the industry and more. 

When the actor was asked about his relationship status, he promptly replied by saying “I am single. That’s not a rumor, that’s a fact.”

Going ahead when the actor was asked about which one part of his body he is scared to lose, the actor replied to the same and said, “I am afraid to lose my hair or my smile because I am doing Freddy maybe.”

While talking about his struggles and his journey of decoding the formula to success, the actor said, “My journey has been out there and I don’t know how to pinpoint a day but from the start there have been several occasions, be it getting my first film or getting to do an audition, I have waited many a times. Once I was locked in for a film, before my debut and I told everybody around me that my film was going to come but the project didn’t take off. After that I learnt that you should never tell such things to anyone so early. 

When I got ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, I didn’t tell anyone that I am shooting for a film, because I thought what if this one gets scrapped as well? I didn’t know anything because everybody was new. I told my roommates that I am doing an internship with ‘Kokilaben’. Finally when the trailer of the film was ready and we locked a release date, that was the day I showed the trailer to all 12 of my roommates on a laptop and told them this is what I have been doing.”

When Alaya F was asked about her journey of getting into the industry, she replied, “I really don’t know how to answer this question and how to talk about my journey. I do come from a certain amount of privilege so my waiting was far less than what Kartik has been through. I don’t know how to answer this question without feeling entitled but yes I have waited. I have had my fair share of waiting for three years during the pandemic.”

Freddy is a Shashanka Ghosh directorial film with an intriguing plot. The film is a romantic thriller in which a dentist (Freddy, played by Kartik Aaryan) falls in love with a married woman ((Kainaaz, played by Alaya F) and his love turns into obsession.
