Song Joong-Ki’s K-drama Reborn Rich’s New Character Trailers Released
After Winning hearts with his performance in Vincenzo, actor Song Joong Ki is ready to steal hearts with his upcoming fantasy-revenge drama titled ‘Reborn Rich.’ Set in the ’80s, the drama will premier in less than two weeks!
Here’s something exciting for the people who are desperately waiting for this upcoming drama. Apparently, series makers have unveiled new character teasers for Song Joong-ki’s (Vincenzo, Descendants of The Sun), Shin Hyun-been’s (Hospital Playlist) and Lee Sang-min’s (The Spy Gone North) roles in its upcoming series, Reborn Rich.

A few days ago, JTBC released a poster featuring Song Joong-ki’s character, who was seen standing for a family portrait of Sunyang Group with his co-stars. However, only his portion of the portrait was torn, showing Song Joong-ki from the past. The text along his character read, “Reborn as the bloodline of the family that killed me.”
In the series, Song Joon-Ki will be seen playing the role of Yoon Hyun-woo, who dies after being framed for embezzlement by the Sunyang Group family. He is then reborn as the family’s youngest son Jin Do-joon who is out to take revenge. In his second life, Do-joon soon encounters the relentless prosecutor Seo Min-young (Shin), who investigates corruption cases. He soon tries to team up with her to crack the biggest case of her career in an attempt to take down the Jin family.

The new character teasers reveal all character’s intentions and personalities. Do-joon first appears as a friendly and easygoing young man in his clip, later revealing his intentions to forcefully take over Sunyang Group. In Min-young’s teaser she is seen being frustrated by her male colleagues at work. Meanwhile, Jin Yang-chul’s hunger for money shines through in his trailer, in which he declares that “money is everything” while showing off his wealth.
Reborn Rich is written by Kim Tae-hee and Jang Eun-jae and is directed by Jung Dae-yoon of She Was Pretty and W fame. It is set premiere on November 18 on JTBC, and will air on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30PM KST.
