The Story Behind SRK’s Iconic “K-K-Kiran” Dialogue From “Darr”
Shah Rukh Khan has been the talk of the town ever since the release of his much-awaited film ‘Pathaan’ that broke several box office records.
Apart from SRK’s charm, wit and impressive stunt sequences, his dialogue K-K-Karen from the film came as quite a surprise and we were immediately reminded of his negative role from his film ‘Darr’ which introduced us to his iconic K-K-Kiran dialogue.
Well, have you ever wondered how SRK perfected his stammer in the film ‘Darr’? Well, the actor spoke about it in a docu-series titled ‘The Romantics’ and stated, ““I had a classmate who had a stammer and then we did some little study, some BBC documentary where they talked about that people’s minds become aware to one sound, and it’s like a sharp current. So, you can’t say the word because you become aware of a sound. Let’s make him aware of the woman he loves the most, her name. So, I only stammer on the word Kiran. It was just for that one word because he’s so aware of her.”
