Varun Dhawan to play a BRIEF role in Stree 2? Find Out

Varun Dhawan has been winning hearts with his performance since he entered the Indian film industry. His character Bhaskar from his last film ‘Bhediya’ was also applauded a lot by his fans.
Last year it was confirmed that Varun Dhawan will be seen in the sequel of Stree 2. It was reported that the filmmakers have locked a script for Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, which takes forward the legacy of the 2018 blockbuster hit. The film was initially set to go on floors in the first quarter of 2023. According to the source, “Shraddha has made a brief appearance in a song of Bhediya and now, Varun Dhawan too is expected to have a role to play in Stree 2. The story of Bhediya eventually leads to Stree and that would set the ball rolling for Maddock’s unique horror-comedy universe.”
Now latest reports have confirmed that Varun Dhawan will have an important cameo in Stree 2. According to the source, “In Bhediya, the characters of Stree enter towards the very end and had nothing to do with the main conflict in the narrative. But in Stree’s sequel, Varun Dhawan will have a crucial role to play. It will be a special appearance but it’ll be something that will add to the fun and madness in Stree 2.”
Both Stree and Bhediya were directed by Amar Kaushik, who is also directing Stree 2. Bhediya film showed correlation with Stree and had a cameo by Rajkummar Rao and Abhishek Banerjee’, and a dance number by Shraddha Kapoor.
As per recent reports, the film is expected to go on floors in July this year.
Meanwhile, Dinesh Vijan, the producer of Stree and Bhediya, is also backing Munjha. Starring Sharvari Wagh in the lead, this horror comedy has gone on floors and is also a part of the same universe as the Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer.
Apart from Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Stree’s prequel Munjha, the producer is also adding a vampire film to his horror comedy universe. This film will reportedly star Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead with South sensation Samantha Ruth Prabhu . The source was quoted saying, “Three’s a company, that started with Stree. Amar is creatively involved in the Vampire Film too, which kicks off next year.”
