OG ‘Kabir Singh’ Vijay Deverakonda To Play ‘World Famous Lover’ In Upcoming Film

Vijay Deverakonda is best known for his portrayal of a toxic lover in ‘Arjuna Reddy’. Turns out the ‘Dear Comrade’ actor has another film under his belt, which is titled ‘World Famous Lover’. He shared an intriguing poster of the film on his Twitter handle, saying ‘Next Up’ –

The film will have Vijay Deverakonda playing the classic character of a playboy. He will romance four different heroines through the course of the film. The female leads in the film include actresses Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite. World Famous Lover is being directed by Kranti Madhav.

Vijay Deverakonda had been maintaining a low profile since his last film Dear Comrade didn’t fare too well at the box office. Apart from this, the actor has been in the news for launching his first ever production house. He has also constantly raised his voice about his concerns for the environment.

Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Arjuna Reddy has also been made into a Bollywood film titled Kabir Singh. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the film went on to do business worth Rs. 300 crores worldwide. Vijay Deverakonda’s recent film Dear Comrade did not fare too well at the box office, though his performance in it was appreciated. In fact, even before the film released, filmmaker Karan Johar had announced a Bollywood remake of the same.
