When Salman Khan REJECTED Juhi Chawla’s Proposal, “He didn’t…”

Salman Khan and Juhi Chawla started their career in Bollywood almost around the same time. But they didn’t share the screen ever. While Juhi Chawla got married to businessman Jay Mehta, everyone is still wondering and have just one question in mind – When Will Salman Khan MARRY? 

Well, while we sit here and still figure out the answer to this question, a video went viral a few days ago which revealed that Salman Khan was once very keen to marry Juhi Chawla. In the video Salman Khan talked about Juhi Chawla‘s father rejecting his marriage proposal. He also shared how he was in awe of Juhi. “She’s a very sweet, adorable girl. I toh asked her father if you let her get married to me. He refused,” he said.

In a latest interview, Juhi Chawla opened up about the same and laughed off Salman Khan’s marriage proposal. She talked about refusing to do a film where he was supposed to be in the lead role opposite her.

The actor shared that initially, she knew little about Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. She said, “Back in the day, when I had just started out in my career, and when Salman was not THE Salman Khan, a film had come my way that had him in the lead actor. In fact, I didn’t know anyone properly back then – not him, not Aamir (Khan) or anyone else in the industry. Incidentally, I couldn’t do the film because of some issue.”

Recently the actor also opened up about signing a Rs 1 Lakh bond to bail her friend Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aaryan Khan, who was involved in the drug case. In a new interview, Juhi called it an unforeseen incident. She added that she thought it was the ‘right thing’ for her to do.
