After reviving for us the old-world charm, the couple has stunned everyone looking like modern day royalty. Deepika Padukone looked super hot in a Zuhair Murad deep red high-look gown while hubby Ranveer Singh wore a Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna couture.

The couple chose to sizzle in the perfect combination of black and red together.

The princess soon turned into a party girl as she switched her heels for a cozy pair of trendy white sneakers. Deepika Padukone let go of her dramatic trail as well!

Deepika Padukone

Sabyasachi’s canvas of designs prove time after time that he is the indisputable king of bridal wear. For proof eye Ms. Padukone over here, who opted for a simple pink salwar suit and added the right amount of drama with her choice of heavy jhumkas and statement neck-peices.

Here’s a tip – Opt for lots of layering and add a colour to contrast! What that does? It compliments the lighter tint of your outfit and brings out the best of your outfit. Deepika chose a red shawl to do the same. Remember to keep the make-up subtle and minimal when going for anything elaborate, outfit or accessories!

Deepika Padukone also wore a gorgeous Anamika Khanna outfit for one of her wedding festivities. We absolutely adore the heavy jhumkas, ladies, you should write that down somewhere. This picture is enough reason for you to have a dozen statement earrings in your closet to go with every kind of outfit you own. Also, we love how the tradition has made friends with modern silhouette through this beautiful Anamika Khanna creation.

Ranveer Singh

Ranveer wore a customized printed pastel hued angrakha with a full umbrella cut that he teamed with a red jacket.

Here’s a tip – There are abundant options in men’s occasion wear and Ranveer Singh is here to show you. When Sabyasachi and the wild child of fashion come together it’s a treat to the eyes. Redefine in your own taste traditional Indian men’s wear, just like this iconic actor-designer duo. Who said men can’t wear pink?

Sabyasachi Mukherjee added to Deepika’s ceremonial attire a lot of details. Many fail to notice but there is a Sanskrit quote embroidered onto the hem of her dupatta: “Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava”. A maang-tikka carefully dangling over her forehead, stacked bracelets on both wrists, and gold kalira hanging from her bangles, her bridal avatar is a sight to behold!

Is it time to go shopping for some jewels for your big event? Just in case you don’t already know, Mukherjee also has an equally stunning heritage jewellery collection.

Now dazzle day and night, splurge on accessories… yes, that’s not a problem ‘cuz you can pair these with a million other things later! And when the dapper groom doesn’t want to wear them anymore, when has a woman ever said “I have enough jewellery, I don’t need more.”

Here’s a tip – Add to your attires personal details. Not are these elements romantic but also surprising! Where have you ever seen an embroidered dupatta like Deepika’s? Also, men, do not shy away from adding to your sherwani a piece of jewellery.

As per Konkani wedding traditions, a bride’s mother is the one who gifts the wedding dress. Deepika’s mother made a superb choice of a red-gold tissue silk saree. The magnificent intricate zari border is making the saree look one-of-a-kind! Note how it’s not the usual bridal red.

Deepika Padukone added tonnes of glamour to her attire with that Indian maatha patti that really caught everyone’s attention!

Here’s a tip – The best way to have an offbeat wedding?

1) Add to your celebrations a unique theme for everyone to follow. Deepika and Ranveer chose a white and gold theme for their south Indian style marriage ceremony to serve as an inspiration, what’s going to be yours?

2) Add unique bridal accessories.

3) If you fall from two different states just like Deepveer, incorporate each other’s cultural traditions into one to make it a true big fat Indian wedding!

Gone are the days when the colour white was deemed inauspicious. Kiss the boring colours  we see all the time at every other wedding goodbye! Also, when has anyone gone wrong with florals? Bride and groom, take notes.

Everything matching-matching used to be a trend. What’s now trending is a plain, single coloured suit which can be worn a dozen times with a different coloured chunni every time. Deepika’s simple suit with a contrast heavy work dupatta is a must-have in every woman’s wardrobe!

The duo was this time styled by Sabyasachi but Ranveer Singh wore a heavy embroidered Rohit Bal sherwani, while Deepika donned a beautiful saree that was gifted to her by mother, Mrs. Ujjala Padukone. Little lovebirds, this celebrity couple is all about twinning with each other. Are you?

Deepika Padukone sported a dramatic Sabyasachi creation for her post-wedding celebrations as well. We love the halo made of roses, never did a bride think of that.

Twinning yet again with his sweetheart, Ranveer Singh wore a Manish Arora outfit. This wild child of fashion is giving men out there some serious goals.

This is what the couple wore for their Mumbai reception

Ranveer Singh surprises us yet again. The fashionista is seen wearing a pleated skirt above tight churiar and his ensemble is by Rohit BalThis man is phenomenal.

The bride, Deepika Padukine is wearing Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s elegant white creation. Abu Jani has dressed the enitre Padukone family for the couple’s Mumbai wedding reception. The all-white saree is a chickankari. Chikan, in the literal sense translates to ’embroidery’. This traditional style is one of Lucknow’s most ancient and well-known art forms and is believed to be introduced by the Mughals.

“We are thrilled to create this ensemble for Deepika. She’s worn our clothes with a passion for years. Deepika’s beauty and grace are ethereal. And she chose Chikan. It is our ultimate love. And her appreciation for finesse and elegance made it her choice too.  Ivory and Gold do her and the occasion full justice. She is an absolute dream in it.

This breathtakingly beautiful Chiffon Chikankari Ensemble in ivory features a trail and is styled with a demi-sari and sumptuous chadar as a head dupatta. Hand embroidered by the women artisans of Lucknow, the intricate, ton sur ton thread embroidery comes alive as millions of sequins, Swarovski crystals and gold zardozi embroidery enhance and embellish it to perfection.

Dramatic zardozi lace borders edge both the demi sari and the chadar. A gold zardozi, Resham and crystal blouse featuring a deep neck and delicate floral motifs with bugle bead and pearl tassels offsets the pristine chikankari to perfection.” share Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
