The show marked 15 years of brand Gaurav Gupta. The music was amazing and put together by ace wedding planner, Vandana Mohan’s son Viraj Mohan.The futuristic set and the lighting provided the perfect setting for the collection that began with tube tops and dresses with a dash of ruffles and feathers.
We also loved the embroidered men’s shoes. This week we saw a lot of dirty lilac on the runway – a colour that sways somewhere between beige and pink. Asymmetrical dress in pink and white was quite remarkable.
Lots of white on the runway added a fresh touch and on some lehengas the embroidery was a combination of chickenkari and the quintessential GG 3D embellishments.
Last but not the least we enjoyed the movement in the earrings worn by Diana Penty and designed by Gaurav Gupta to mark 15 years of his brand.
