INGREDIENTS

  • 150g CLEANED PRAWNS
  • 12-15 CURRY LEAVES
  • 7-8 GREEN CHILLI
  • 1tsp CUMIN SEEDS
  • 3 RED CHILLI WHOLE
  • 5 tbsp. REFINED OIL
  • 10 tbsp. CHOPPED ONION
  • 1 tsp. CHOPPED GINGER
  • 6 tbsp. CHOPPED TOMATO
  • 1 tsp. CHOPPED GARLIC
  • 1 tsp. CUMIN POWDER
  • 1 tsp. GARAM MASALA
  • 1 tsp. CORIANDER POWDER
  • 11/2 tsp. RED CHILLI POWDER
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • 1 ½ tsp. FRESHLY CHOPPED CORIANDER
  • 2-3 tsp. TAMARIND PULP
  • ½ tsp. TURMERIC POWDER
  • 1 tsp. GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  • 2/3 CUP WATER

METHOD

  • Marinate the prawns in ginger garlic paste with chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt for 10 mins
  • Add 1/4 cup of water to the marinated prawns and boil in medium flame for 6-8 mins. Drain excess water, if any
  • Heat oil in a pan, add finely minced garlic and saute for half a minute. Add sliced onions, curry leaves, green chilli and saute
  • Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Then, add chopped tomato & saute for 2 more minutes
  • Add boiled prawns, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and stir fry for 3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot
