5 Exercises To Improve Your Eye Sight If You Spend Most Of Your Time In Front Of The Screen
We are constantly on our phones and laptops and, while this isn’t healthy for our eyesight, we have to find ways to balance it out. Eye exercises are a must if you are one of those who spend most of their time in front of the screen. These exercises will not only improve your eyesight but, also soothe them.
Focusing
This exercise helps in strengthening and stretching the occular muscles in the eyes. Just look up and down without moving your head, at least 10 times, to relax your eyes.
Blinking
Blinking is a great way of reducing eye strain. Take a break from your work and just blink for 5 seconds each for the next 2 mins.
Palming
This is a good yoga technique that soothes the eyes. Just cover your eyes with your palms and let it rest for 2 mins. But don’t apply too much pressure.
Figure Eight
This is a great exercise to increase the flexibility of your eyes. Just focus on a blank wall and imagine an 8 on it. Now trace the path of 8 without moving your head.
Zooming Out
This is another way of strengthening the eye muscles. Stretch your arm, focus on the thumb and draw it closer until it’s 3 inches away from the face. Repeat it for at least 2 mins.
