The rumours are true, the memes are legit. In Bangalore, renting an apartment is becoming more and more challenging. Prices are skyrocketing, landlords won’t approve applicants with a 12th grade average of less than 90%, and regardless of whether you passed the Google interview, you may fail the landlord interview. Ab aise situation mein what to do? Well, there are a number of other cities that have flats at reasonable rates, so why not check them out?

Pune

Pune is known as the “Oxford of the East” all thanks to the large number of famous educational institutions that call it home. Young professionals frequently choose this city as it’s growing rapidly and has a thriving IT industry. Known as one of India’s most developed cities, Pune provides rental apartments at much lower prices than Bangalore and it also has a lower cost of living than other cities.

Chennai

For those who don’t know, Chennai is well known for both, delicious food and its rich cultural history. This city has a lower cost of living than Bangalore despite having a growing IT industry, so that’s definitely a plus point. If you are looking for a decent apartment at reasonable rates then do check out this city.

Hyderabad

Hyderabad is another city where renting an apartment is less expensive than it is in Bangalore. It acts as a hub for the pharmaceutical and IT sectors, which appeal to several young people. Rental apartments in the city are still far less expensive than those in Bangalore, despite the city’s competitive real estate market.

Kolkata

Kolkata, the cultural centre of India, is well known for its vibrant and ancient culture. It is one of the most affordable cities in the nation since flat rent there is much lower than it is in Bangalore. People looking for affordable housing commonly turn to Kolkata’s real estate market because it is typically steady. Also, the city is quite vibrant so do give this city a thought if you still haven’t.

Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, serves as a major industrial hub and is home to several large enterprises. But compared to Bangalore, renting an apartment in Ahmedabad is far less expensive. Due to its effective transport infrastructure, the city is easy to navigate and it’s quite a happening place so you won’t have a dull moment here as there’s a lot to explore and do.
