India is often considered as a land of undiscovered mystery. While most people try their best to avoid an encounter with the paranormal, there are also a significant number of us who actively seek out the adrenaline rush of being surrounded by the mysterious unknown. So, if you’re someone who is looking to hunt a ghost on your next trip with your friends, then here are some locations you can explore *wink wink*:

Indian Ghost Town of Ajabgarh

If you love ghost tales, then this is the perfect place for you to visit with your friends. The Indian Ghost Town of Bhangarh, Rajasthan, is one of the scariest places in India to visit and one of the most abandoned places in India. However, this tag has not perturbed visitors from making frequent trips to this ghost town.

Dow Hill, Kurseong

The Victoria Boy’s High School and Dowhill Girl’s Boarding School in Kurseong, Darjeeling, are believed to be the residence of many spirits whose footsteps can be heard echoing through the hallways. In addition, there have been countless murdered bodies found in the wood, and many people claim to have seen the boy with a half-cut head.

Mukesh Mills

Mukesh Mills is a popular location for TV serials and Bollywood films. Located in Mumbai’s tony Colaba area, Mukesh Mills was once a thriving mill when it opened its doors in the 1870s. The mill, however, went out of business in the 1980s when the workers struck work. It was later shut, and then an unexplained fire broke out, leaving it in its condition.

Malcha Mahal

Malcha Mahal is in this list simply for the hauntingly sad tale about this place. Malcha Mahal is a restricted area, and any person who is seen here can be shot dead. The reason for this is not a ghost but the people who still live in this house. They say no one steps in or out of the house.

Jatinga, Assam

This tiny village with a population of 2500 has one of the most puzzling phenomena globally, namely recurring mass bird suicides. For centuries now, local and migratory birds plummeted on moonless nights of September and October only in a specific area. Well, it’s still a mystery that is unsolved to date.
