10 Things You Should Never Do During Sex With Someone New

Sex is great fun! But for all the awesomeness that it provides, there also can be downsides when it comes to doing the deed and damn right doing it well. There are these crucial elements you need to learn NOT to do during sexual intercourse, especially when it’s with someone new. So next time you’re frolicking with a new partner, try banishing these habits from the bedroom; it’ll keep you happier- both in and out of the sheets.

1. Insulting their genitals

This is so wrong on so many levels. You needn’t bring them to bed in the first place if you can’t keep quiet where one must. Women don’t need to hear that their unshaved vulva is ugly and men don’t need to hear that their uncut penis is a turnoff. Especially amidst sex!

2. Surprise hickies

While many enjoy an aggressive partner, a sudden and rough bite on any part of the body before they are aroused may lead to pain and discomfort or simply scare them off. So make sure your partner is fully excited before you get all steamy and bite their ears, shoulders, neck or anything.

3. Climaxing too soon or too late

This one is especially for men; you need a good control on your muscles to make sure you ejaculate at the right time. Too soon and you may leave your partner unsatisfied; too late and it might leave your partner feeling as if they’re pumping iron at the gym. To avoid this, we suggest, spend a lot more time on foreplay.

4. Subtly glancing at the time

But this is never subtly enough! We mean, you can always glance at the clock to convey that you’re bored. But why in the world would you do that? Why would you want to make someone feel so awful about themselves? Anyone who checks the time during sex deserves for that sex to come to an end immediately.

5. Not opening your mouth

Because sex, especially great sex, is about communicating and giving your partner some sort of hint as to what’s going on, silence during sex is a total mood killer.

6. Not shutting up

It’s one thing to talk dirty or to check in to make sure your partner is enjoying himself/herself, but it’s totally another to talk and talk and talk. Your partner is probably just as concerned as you are about world politics and movies, but this isn’t the time for that discussion.

7. Referencing someone else’s style

By doing this, you’re simply doing two things. Firstly, you’re comparing what your ex did to what your current partner is doing, which is beyond not cool. Secondly, you’re being too rude. Trust us, there’s no bigger turn off than this one.

8. Calling out the wrong name

Yes, we are all guilty of forgetting the name of that occasional one-night stand. So to be safe, it’s always best to just yell out, “Oh, yeah!”

9. Not kissing

Believe it or not, many people don’t kiss their partner when they’re having sex. Perhaps the position doesn’t allow for it or they are too eager to climax and feel kissing might break the rhythm. But whatever it is, if you’re going to bed with someone and they want to kiss you, you kiss them back- that’s the rule.

10. Passing gas

Farting a blast of death and destruction in someone’s face and then trying to continue without giving me a damn minute to recover is unacceptable. Nobody is that eager to go down until the air is cleared. There’s nothing so hard to understand about that!
