A new mobile augmented reality game based on Harry Potter called ‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ will be launched this Friday on June 21. A calamity has befallen the wizarding world in this open-world game which is causing artifacts, creatures, people and even memories to mysteriously appear in the world of Muggles. It’s up to the players to ready their wands, prepare their potions, brush up their spells and help prevent ‘The Calamity’ from exposing the secrets of the world of wizards. Players can also explore neighbourhoods in search of spells, creatures to battle and artifacts to collect.
According to reports, J.K. Rowling is not directly involved in the making of the game, but her extraordinary body of writing will always be the foundation of all projects in the wizarding world. ‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ is created by the same team of Niantic that was behind Pokemon Go, so you the level of excitement it’ll bring. This new game that supports both iOS and Android will also bring in few content and characters from the Fantastic Beasts film as well. While the rollout will begin only in United States and United Kingdom, but we are the game will debut in other regions as none can contain the fever of Harry Potter.
