  1. One Plus 6T

You knew this was coming! Released towards the tail end of the year, the One Plus 6T is an incredibly powerful phone, packed in a sleek body with an excellent market price to boot. When the 6t came out, it literally blew every other phone out of the water. And even though it’s got a 1080p display, the speed and ease of use more than make up for a few missing pixels. It’s got an excellent camera that while not as insanely good as the Pixel 3, still stands out as one of the best shooters out there. Plus, who doesn’t love the fingerprint sensor right under the display?

  1. Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung have been at the top of every smartphone list for years now and 2018 is no different.  With the Galaxy S9, the Korean tech giant has gone above and beyond with their latest device. Packed with a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor, 4GB of RAM and a beautiful AMOLED display, the S9 is one of the best phones out in the market now.

  1. Google Pixel 3

Since Google entered the smartphone market with the Nexus 5 back in the day, we’ve all seen the way the software giant has poured its resources into manufacturing. With the Pixel 3, Google have almost perfect their range of Pixel phones. Their latest device comes packed with 2.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB of RAM, the Pixel 3 is a heavyweight when it comes to specs. Plus, the phone has the best camera around, crusing every iPhone out there. If you love taking pictures and such, then the Pixel 3 is perfect for you.

  1. Huawei Mate 20 Pro

Want more cameras in your smartphone? Well, Huawei isn’t about to disappoint you as they’ve shoved not one, not two, but three cameras into the Mate 20 Pro! Deemed to be the flagship killer of 2018, the Mate 20 Pro comes pretty damn close to that title. With 6GB of RAM and a 2.36GHz Cortex A73 processor, the Mate 20 Pro is really fast and incredibly smooth, all at a relatively affordable price. Plus, with a 4000 mAh battery, you’ll seriously never run out of charge.

  1. iPhone XS

We’re not big fans of Apple products here at Goodtimes but even we have to admit that the XS was a pretty good phone. Let’s run through the specs, shall we? The iPhone XS comes with a TrueDepth Camera, Face ID, a Dual-camera system and the piece de resistance, the A12 Bionic chip. The phone is incredibly smooth and you can really difference between an Apple product and most other Android phones. The only thing that drags the phone down is its unnecessary and ridiculous price. Nothing should cost you an arm and leg, NOTHING!

  1. Moto G6

Motorola have been a part of the cellphone industry for a long time and have finally gotten their feet under then in this new generation of smartphones. With the G6, Motorola have really outdone themselves. The G6 comes packed with a Snapdragon 450 1.8GHz octa core processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3000 mAh battery. When it comes to specs, the G6 isn’t as powerful as the other phones on this list but it is smooth and intuitive. Plus, it costs about 13,000 INR, so as far as price goes, you can’t beat the G6.

  1. LG V40 ThinQ

LG are better known as a consumer electronics manufacturer globally, but their phones aren’t far behind the competition, if we’re being honest. The V40 has got a slick display, three cameras on the back and a unique look to boot. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, along with 6GB of RAM, making it incredibly fast and smooth. The launch date for India has not been revealed as yet, but we expect the phone to hit desi shores soon.

  1. Samsung Note 9

The largest phone on our list, the Note 9 is a beast and a half. Plus, it really helps that the phone comes with a stylus. For artists and such, the ‘S-pen’ is a godsend. Also, it is one of the few phones in 2018 that still has a headphone jack. The death of the 3.5mm jack was one of the worst decisions in smartphone design in 2018 and we’re glad to see that it hasn’t completely died out. The Note 9 comes loaded with a 12 MP + Dual Rear Camera (F1.5/F2.4) + 12 MP (F2.4) and a 8 MP (F1.7) front camera for some incredibly crisp photos. Plus the phone is huge, and we happen to like big phones.

  1. Vivio Nex

Ok, one of the reasons this phone is on the list is because of how innovative it actually is. With a bezel-less display, we wondered where they’d hide the camera and lo and behold, with the press of a button, the camera pops out of the top of the phone. We can’t say how long it’ll last with motorized parts but it sure looks cool! It also comes with a 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa core processor, 8GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery. All this means that the phone is packed to the brim with great hardware.

  1. Poco F1 by Xiaomi

Yes, we know that it’s not a great name but the Poco F1 is a beast in terms of performance. A Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 20 MP front camera just crush the competition. Plus, it only costs about 20,000 INR. Now, if that isn’t a steal, then we don’t know what is! If you’re a little short on cash and still want a premium experience, then the Poco F1 is the fight phone for you.
