MS Dhoni’s Love For Accessories Is Being Celebrated With These Special Edition Watches

M.S. Dhoni has an ardent love for watches! His love, however, started “much later” in his life. Because as we all know, bikes ruled Captain Cool’s heart before watches took over. He claimed his passion (for watches) to “have started around 2005”, while adding that he learnt a lot about watches from some senior cricketers.

And now, Captain Cool’s passion for the timekeepers has been celebrated with two special and luxurious watches. Italian luxury watch brand Panerai has launched two special edition watches dedicated to its India brand ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The MS Dhoni special editions are an extension of Panerai’s eminent Luminor family. The two new watches- Luminor GMT – 44 mm (PAM01056) and the Luminor Chrono Flyback – 44 mm (PAM01057) reflect the dynamic dual personality of Captain Cool- determined, dependable and confident in the field, and eclectic, impeccable and sociable out of it. The two Luminor dials are in MS Dhoni’s favourite colour- green and the case-back is engraved with the cricketer’s signature, his cricketing image and the number 183, symbolising his highest score in ODI cricket.
