Smartphones are essentially small little computers that we carry around in our pockets. In fact, modern life would not be complete without our beloved cellphones. And, with each passing year there have been massive upgrades to smartphone technology. From measly 2MP cameras, we’ve come full circle with Xiaomi’s latest beast of a smartphone. The latest in the entry level segment Redmi Note series, the Note 7 features a whopping 48 megapixel camera!
The Note 7 actually resembles the Mi Play in its design aesthetic but packs a lot more under the hood. The phone’s got a circular notch that houses the front 13MP camera and an array of sensors. And, since the phone falls under the mid-budget segment, don’t expect the Redmi Note 7 to burn a hole in your pocket as well. The phone also comes with a packed with a Snapdragon 660 processor, a massive 4,000mAh battery, and a headphone jack.
One of the most overlooked features of the Redmi Note 7 is the fact that the camera comes with a Sony IMX586 sensor which is generally found on higher end phones like the Honor View 20. This is a big step forward for the brand and will definitely see a boost in performance when it comes to taking pictures and the like.
At the time of the announcement, the Redmi Note 7 could cost about INR 20,000 or 2000 Yuan. No release date has been announced in India as yet, but we’re hopeful that the Redmi Note 7 will make its debut in India soon.
