India Sees Biggest Jump In COVID 19 Cases, But Records Better Recovery Rate Too

In the last 24 hours, India has seen the biggest single-day jump in coronavirus cases with over 4,000 new cases – taking the total tally to almost 67,200. The recorded deaths stand at 2,206, with 97 people dying in the past 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry.

However, the recovery rate is at 31.14 percent which hints towards an improvement from the last recorded percentage of 26.59.

However, over the weekend, Tamil Nadu took over the third position countrywide with respect to cases, pushing Delhi to the fourth position. As of right now, Maharashtra is topping the chart with 22,171 cases, Gujarat with 8,195 cases, Tamil Nadu with 7,204 cases, and Delhi with 6,923 cases.
