India Sees More Than 30,000 Cases Of Coronavirus, Records Over 1000 Deaths

In the biggest spike in the number of deceased in India since the beginning of the novel coronavirus pandemic, 73 people have died in the country in the last 24 hours, as the cases rise well above 30,000. The total reported deaths now stand at 1,007.

A CRPF battalion in Delhi also reported 47 cases of the novel coronavirus, including a jawan who passed away yesterday. 1000 people in the battalion have now been quarantined.

The tally right now stands at:

Cases 31,332

Recovered 7,696
