Stars have now even begun donating for the CM relief funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana so as to help contain the novel coronavirus.

Nithiin the first from the Indian film industry to announce that he would donate Rs 10 lakh each to both governments and had even met CM KCR to hand over the cheque in person. “In the wake of the covid-19 outbreak,I’d like to do my bit fr d country’s safety. Soon, producer Kolagatla Pratap too announced Rs 1 lakh for the AP relief fund for the same. Sarileru Neekevvaru director, Anil Ravipudi too announced Rs 5 lakh contribution and wrote, “I would like to contribute 5 lakhs each to the CM relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Let’s maintain social distancing and make this Lock Down period a huge success. Let’s stay away from each other and break the chain. #IndiaFightsCorona. @TelanganaCMO @AndhraPradeshCM.” (sic)
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo director Trivikram Srinivas donated Rs 10 lakhs each. A PR note about the same reads, “Our director Trivikram srinivas garu will be donating 10 lakhs each to both AP and Telangana CM relief funds to fight against corona pandemic…” (sic)

Pawan Kalyan announced Rs 50 lakhs for each government of the Telugu states and Rs 1 crore to the PM relief fund. He wrote, “I will be donating Rs.50 Lakhs each to both AP and Telangana CM relief funds to fight against Corona pandemic,” (sic) and added, “I will be donating Rs.1 crore to PM relief fund to support our Hon. PM Sri @narendramodi ji, in turbulent times like this. His exemplary and inspiring leadership would truly bring our country from this Corona pandemic.” (sic)
Ram Charan also announced soon, from his newly opened Twitter account that he would contribute Rs 70 lakhs towards the centre and Telugu states.
Chiranjeevi by pledged to donate Rs 1 Cr to help out the daily wage workers and those of lower-income groups in TFI and the country both. Sharing the news, he wrote, “The lockdown situation while mandatory to deal with the #CoronaCrisis,also adversely impacts the lives of daily wage workers & lower income groups in the country including the #TeluguFilmIndustry. Keeping this in mind I am donating Rs.1 Cr for providing relief to the Film workers.” (sic)

Mahesh Babu donated Rs 1 Cr to the CM relief fund of AP and Telangana. Sharing a note about it, he wrote, “Let’s battle the COVID-19 as a nation! Folded handsFolded hands Humanity will rise and we will win this war! #StayHomeStaySafe.” (sic) Prabhas too joined the fight by donating Rs 1 Cr to both the Telugu states. And Jr NTR announced a donation of Rs 75 lakh, with Rs 50 lakh going to the Telugu states and Rs 25 lakh for the aid of daily wage workers from TFI.
Ace shuttler PV Sindhu too announced that she will be contributing Rs 5 lakhs each for both the Telugu states to beat the coronavirus pandemic. Prakash Raj on the other hand took in 11 stranded workers from Khammam, Pondicherry and Chennai to his farm, offered monetary help to their families and requested others to take care of such stranded too.
Allari Naresh on the other hand decided that him and Satish Vegesna, on behalf of team Naandhi, would provide Rs 10,000 per person to 50 unit members who depend on daily wage for a living. “Mankind’s toughest test of solidarity, but we will emerge as a stronger race. Promising to have each other’s backs and to pay it forward. Stay home and stay safe! #CoronavirusLockdown,” (sic) he wrote, making the announcement.
