In a move that is signalling towards the significance of coronavirus outbreak in India, Mumbai’s famous Dabbawalas have suspended services till the end of the month March.
They will stop services March 20.

Started in 1890, then- Bombay based Mahadeo Bachche started a lunch delivery service with about a hundred men. The Dabbawalas business model is so well known around the world, it has found its place in projects being studied at Harvard University, as well as making an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
