Well, the novel coronavirus has officially gone too far. They have delayed the much-awaited Friends’ one time reunion at HBO Max’s May debut, and sorry but this is unacceptable. The last thing we needed was this sad news over everything else. Yes, fine we do understand the need of the hour, and applaud the sensitive and agile thinking of the production house but can the citizens of Earth catch a break?
The one-time special was reportedly set to film between March 23rd and March 24th, but as multiple sets and productions shut down around the .world in an attempt to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, production of the Friends reunion was halted, too. It will now reportedly film in May at the earliest.
A WarnerMedia spokesperson said HBO Max is “still moving forward” with the special and “at this point, we anticipate launching HBO Max with the Friends Reunion Special.”
