Finally Some Relief For Stranded Citizens, Air India To Start Domestic Flights

After setting out to bring back stranded Indians from around the world as part of the Vande Bharat mission, reports now suggest that Air India will be operating domestic flights for stranded passengers to help them get home from various Indian cities.

While Delhi will have the maximum number of flights (173), Mumbai (40), Hyderabad (25) and Kochi (12) will be the other major cities that will have domestic evacuation, a report in a leading daily suggests.

While no official confirmation on this has been put out, yet – reports suggest that Air India will operate the said ‘special’ domestic flights between May 19 and June 2.
