Steve Carell & John Krasinski Reunite To Give You Some COVID 19 Respite!

Co-managers even in tragedy! Fans of The Office, this is not a drill – Jim Halpert and Michael Scott came are the bearer of Good News amidst these trying times, and now it makes sense why Dunder Miffler, Scranton Branch was always winning the top honours! These guys know their deal.

Ok enough with the reel life, apparently John Krasinski had been looking a way to do a “Good News” bulletin for quite a while now, and in between everything else (like directing one of the best horror movies, ever) he simply couldn’t. Until now, when the world needs good news more than ever.

It all started with a tweet from last week, where Krasinski asked his followers to send him true stories that are heartwarming,

Then we saw him, suited up, with a “SGN” sign that his daughters made, talking to us about the need of happiness in this hour.

For years now, I’ve been wondering, why is there not a news show dedicated entirely to good news? Well, desperately seeking my fix somewhere else, I reached out to all of you this week, asking — nay, begging — for some good news. And boy, did you deliver. After reading those replies and the incredibly heartwarming stories that came with them, I thought, ‘All right. Enough is enough, world. Why not us? Why not now?’ So, ladies and gentleman, this is your fault, and this is SGN. I’m John Krasinski, and if it isn’t clear yet, I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.

The whole video is about stories of resilience, and patience, and love, featuring a child battling cancer who is now Krasinski’s “newest hero”

The video also has a special guest in form of Steve Carell, who drops in for a quick chat, and the two reminisce about the show they did together!

Watch this video for a li’l bit of happiness in these dreary times!
